It seems that the hedgehogs Suzu brought home with her have taken to wandering about the Willow dorm. If you happen to come across a small spiky ball, please do not upset it. The baby hedgehogs have decided to sleep there.
After our trips to the aquarium and zoo, which provided much information on various flora, fauna, and aqueous creatures, I updated my rather worn copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Some of the classifications given to the creatures are excessive, so I have remedied this by lowering and raising them as necessary. Kyouju, if you would like to take a look over my copious notes on the matter, I will lend you my book.
At home, my father took a look at Suzu. With the help of a member of the Japanese Ministry of Magic that he knew, it has been determined that Suzu still hasn't gotten the potion out of her system, most likely due to the residual magic she has because she's a tanuki. The Ministry official said she should be back to normal within six months, to which I replied that it would be closer to the middle of December considering the amount of potion you say she still has. My mother did not find this endearing and I was forced to cook for a week without using magic. I only singed off my eyebrows 3.5 times.

Date: 2014-08-22 05:23 pm (UTC)Suzu seems quite content with her little adopted family. I do miss her roly-poly tanuki form, though.
I am quite impressed you did not blow up the house or accidentally poison your family.

I was strictly forbidden to experiment. Therefore, I had a 100% success rate.

I see. That does explain it. Your eyebrows look quite luxuriant despite their misadventures, though.

Date: 2014-08-26 01:39 pm (UTC)I believe so. I have taken it upon myself to introduce the prickle to tanuki images to familiarize them when Suzu turns back.
Luxuriant?! I am only 21.32% sure that is flirting.Perhaps that is due to magical self-consciousness.(ooc: strikes deleted)

Date: 2014-08-26 11:36 pm (UTC)Do we not have other schoolmates with tanuki? Perhaps we could...borrow...one.
Perhaps.

I might need to test this theory.
