inuiThree days and Suzu has still not returned. I'm worried that Yanagi was right and she was tired of dealing with my potion mishaps. This morning, I happened to find the hedgehog like this when I woke up:
I picked it up and worked to get it to stop struggling. It made a little squeaking noise.
After lessons, I noticed the hedgehog was covered in ink. I suppose my inkstone somehow got wet and it crawled over it when I had my bag laid flat in the library. I had to give it a bath.
I searched the Forest again today for Suzu, but I came up empty-handed. I managed to gather some more potions ingredients and food for the hedgehog. I also sent an owl to my parents, but I feel they are unlikely (72%) to replace my tanuki. Then again, I also don't want to replace her.
